In a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) launched in Marsary, Chowkibal, security forces apprehended Wali Mohd Mir, a terror associate linked with banned outfits. The operation was conducted by 05 PARA, 160 TA, 98 Bn CRPF, SOG Kralpora, and local police. A major haul of arms and ammunition — including one AK-56 rifle, three magazines, 1150 rounds, and 17 UBGL grenades — was recovered. Initial probe indicates Mir was actively helping terrorists by transporting weapons. This operation marks another significant success in curbing terror supply chains in North Kashmir.
