Students Send Heartfelt Rakhi Greetings to Defence Personnel in Jammu

In a touching tribute ahead of Raksha Bandhan, students from various Jammu schools crafted handmade Rakhis for India’s defence personnel. These Rakhis were presented to Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas and ADC Ansuya Jamwal by Chief Education Officer Ajeet Sharma today.

The initiative, led by the Education Department, aims to convey love and gratitude to soldiers serving far from home. The Rakhis will be sent to defence units across the country.

DC Rakesh Minhas praised the initiative as a strong message of patriotism and emotional solidarity. CEO Ajeet Sharma said the gesture helps instill national pride in students.

The move celebrates the spirit of Raksha Bandhan, strengthening the bond between citizens and the armed forces.
