Under Operation Mahadev, a fierce encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Srinagar’s Harwan area, near Dachigam National Park. The operation was launched after credible intel about terrorist presence. The area has been cordoned off, with heavy deployment and drone surveillance. Exchange of fire is ongoing as forces aim to neutralize the threat.
