J&K Govt Terminates Two Employees Over Lashkar-e-Taiba Terror Links

In a decisive step against terror infiltration in government ranks, Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday terminated two employees for their links with Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba. Acting under Article 311 (2)(c) of the Constitution, the administration dismissed them without departmental inquiry, citing serious security concerns. According to officials, intelligence and law enforcement agencies gathered concrete evidence that the duo was actively aiding terror activities. The move reflects the government’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and its commitment to ensuring public institutions remain free from extremist influence. Authorities reiterated that strict action will continue against any individual found supporting terror networks, sending a strong message across the Union Territory.
