Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Rakesh Minhas, today reviewed the arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations scheduled to be held at MAM Stadium. The meeting was attended by senior officers from the district administration, police, and other security agencies. Discussions centred around ensuring foolproof security, smooth conduct of cultural programs, seating arrangements, and crowd management. Special emphasis was laid on coordination between departments for uninterrupted power supply, medical facilities, and traffic regulation. The DC directed all concerned officials to work in synergy to ensure that the event is conducted in a grand and safe manner. The preparations aim to create a festive atmosphere while maintaining the highest level of security for attendees.
