Cyber Police Station Jammu conducted a cyber awareness programme at NCC Academy, Nagrota, where Inspector Bhupinder Singh addressed around 400 cadets and academy officials. The session highlighted rising threats like bank/SIM KYC frauds, fake part-time job offers, investment scams, courier frauds, and social media crimes such as sextortion, impersonation, and account hacking. Cadets were urged to avoid unknown calls, verify credentials before transactions, and secure their digital presence. The audience was encouraged to stay vigilant and spread awareness to curb cybercrime.
