Two Army Jawans Martyred in Longest Kulgam Encounter — Operation AKHAL Enters 9th Day

The ongoing Operation AKHAL in Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir, has entered its ninth day, marking the longest encounter in the region in recent years. On Saturday, two Indian Army soldiers — Lance Naik Pritpal Singh and Sepoy Harminder Singh — were martyred while displaying exceptional bravery in the line of duty. The prolonged anti-terror operation has already seen four soldiers injured in clashes last night. Security forces continue to maintain a tight cordon as they engage heavily armed militants in the dense terrain. The sacrifice of these soldiers underlines the relentless challenges faced by the armed forces in counter-terror operations. The nation stands united in grief and pride, honoring the martyrs who gave their all to safeguard peace and security in Jammu & Kashmir.
