Jammu witnessed major disruptions on Tuesday as relentless rains forced authorities to shut down vital traffic routes for public safety. The 4th Bridge and the rotary near Major Somnath Chowk have been closed to traffic, with restrictions placed on movement from Hotel Asia, Satwari Chowk, and Bhagwati Nagar. Additionally, the road from Atal Chowk (Panjthirthi) towards Sidhra Bridge was blocked after landslides and shooting stones made it unsafe for commuters. Officials have appealed to the public to avoid unnecessary travel, stay alert, and follow updates. Restoration efforts are underway, but safety remains the top priority in view of the persistent rainfall.
