In a heartwarming gesture, members of the Sikh community organized a Langar Seva for the brave personnel tirelessly engaged in rescue operations at Chishoti Padder, Kishtwar. With active support from the Saad Sangat of District Kishtwar and the District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (DGPC) Kishtwar, the initiative provided much-needed relief to rescue teams and locals affected by the calamity. The community distributed hot langar, tea, packaged drinking water, fruits, and blankets, ensuring comfort and sustenance to those working round-the-clock in adverse conditions. Authorities and local residents expressed deep gratitude for this noble effort, praising the Sikh community’s tradition of selfless service (seva). The gesture not only supported frontline rescuers but also brought hope and strength to the affected families.
