
Minister for Food,Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Transport , Science & Technology, Information Technology,Youth Services & Sports,ARI & Training, Satish Sharma inaugurated a three-day painting exhibition today at the Master Sansar Chand Gallery, Kala Kendra, Jammu. The event, organized by the Kala Kendra Society, features a diverse collection of artworks from both local and national artists, aiming to promote artistic expression and cultural exchange.
In his inaugural address, Satish Sharma emphasized the importance of art in bridging cultural divides and fostering a deeper understanding of societal values. He commended the Kala Kendra Society for its ongoing efforts to provide a platform for emerging artists and for its commitment to enriching the region’s cultural landscape.
Dr. Javaid Rahi, Secretary of the Kala Kendra Society, highlighted that the exhibition showcases a variety of styles and mediums, reflecting the rich artistic heritage of Jammu and Kashmir. He noted that such exhibitions not only celebrate creativity but also encourage dialogue and collaboration among artists and the community.
The exhibition is open to the public and will remain on display until April 14, offering art enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the vibrant artistic expressions of the region.
