The National Security Guard (NSG) on Sunday conducted a high-intensity security drill at the historic Raghunath Temple in Jammu to assess preparedness against potential terror threats. The mock exercise included hostage-rescue simulations, bomb detection, and swift-response tactics to strengthen security at the revered shrine. Officials said the drill was part of routine anti-terror preparedness measures, ensuring foolproof safety for devotees and sensitive religious sites. The Raghunath Temple, which attracts thousands of pilgrims annually, remains a high-priority security zone. The exercise reaffirmed India’s commitment to safeguarding its heritage and maintaining peace with robust counter-terror readiness.
