Udhampur, J&K – The Indian Army’s WhiteKnight Corps today paid a solemn tribute to Lance Dafadar Baldev Chand, who laid down his life during an ongoing counter-terror operation in Kanji, Udhampur, on the intervening night of September 19–20, 2025.
The tribute ceremony was led by the GOC WhiteKnight Corps, joined by officers and jawans, who honored the fallen soldier with full military respects.
Baldev Chand’s sacrifice stands as a testament to the unflinching commitment and bravery of Indian soldiers who continue to guard the nation in the most challenging terrains. Senior Army officials reaffirmed their resolve to carry forward the operation until all threats are neutralized.
