Security forces established contact with terrorists in Kishtwar district during an intelligence-based operation on Thursday evening. According to defence officials, alert troops of the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps engaged with terrorists at around 8 p.m. on September 19. A heavy exchange of gunfire followed as the terrorists opened fire on the approaching troops.
