Indian Army drones airlift relief, deliver supplies to flood-hit Chilla Village

Floods had left Chilla village in Kathua district completely cut off, with 16 families stranded without access to food or medical supplies. Rising to the challenge, troops of the Indian Army’s Gurj Division, in coordination with the Civil Administration, deployed heavy-load drones to airlift and deliver more than 300 kilograms of ration and medicines. The swift action highlights how technology is being effectively utilized for humanitarian purposes in remote and inaccessible areas. The relief operation not only brought essential supplies but also renewed hope among residents. This mission once again reinforces the Army’s role as the first responder during natural calamities in Jammu and Kashmir.
