Army, Kathua Administration airlift essentials to flood-hit Chilla.

In a joint humanitarian mission, the Kathua Administration and the Indian Army carried out drone-based relief operations in the flood-hit Chilla village of Jammu and Kashmir. The area was completely cut off after flash floods destroyed access routes, leaving locals stranded without food and essentials. Heavy-load drones were deployed to airlift ration and necessary supplies, ensuring timely relief to affected families. Officials confirmed that more sorties will follow to meet the villagers’ needs. This innovative use of technology reflects the Army’s and Administration’s commitment to safeguard lives and provide immediate assistance in disaster-hit regions.
