In a decisive move against terrorism, Poonch Police have attached the immovable property of Mohd Azam, resident of Chapriyan, Mandi, under Section 88 CrPC on the directions of the Hon’ble Court. Azam, a proclaimed offender and Hizbul Mujahideen handler, had exfiltrated to Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) and is involved in several terror-related cases. Officials confirmed that his properties were identified and seized as part of ongoing efforts to curb support networks aiding terrorism in the region. Police stressed that such actions will continue against all individuals providing logistical or financial support to terror groups. The move reflects the administration’s zero tolerance policy towards terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir.
