The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir today visited the flood-affected areas of Jammu to take stock of the situation on ground. During his visit, he interacted with residents and assessed the damages caused by the rising water levels due to continuous heavy rainfall. The Chief Minister assured that the government is taking all possible measures to safeguard people living in vulnerable regions and ensure timely evacuation wherever required. He further emphasized that restoration of essential services, relief distribution, and rehabilitation of affected families will be the top priority. Authorities, along with Army, NDRF, SDRF, and local administration, are on high alert to respond swiftly to any emergencies. The administration urged citizens to remain vigilant and follow safety advisories.
