Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) late Sunday in the Uri sector. The incident occurred in the Torna area, where troops on patrol noticed suspicious movement close to the border. Upon being challenged, the infiltrators opened fire, prompting a brief exchange of gunfire with the soldiers. Following this, a massive search operation was launched to prevent any potential infiltration or arms smuggling attempt. As of now, no casualties have been reported from either side.
