J&K Police, Army, CRPF Lead Relief & Rescue Operations in Kishtwar

In the aftermath of the devastating cloudburst and flash floods in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), in close coordination with the CRPF, Indian Army, SDRF, and civil authorities, are working tirelessly to provide relief and rescue support. Multiple teams have been deployed to evacuate survivors, trace the missing, and deliver food, medicine, and other essential aid to affected families.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) assured locals of complete support, emphasizing that the safety of women, children, and the elderly remains the highest priority. Relief camps have been set up in safer areas, while medical teams are extending round-the-clock assistance. Despite difficult terrain and weather challenges, rescue efforts continue with full force, reflecting the commitment of security forces and administration to safeguard lives and bring timely relief to the distressed population.
