DRDO Guest House Manager in Pokhran Arrested for Spying for Pakistan

Security agencies have arrested Mahendra Prasad, the manager of the DRDO guest house in Pokhran, Rajasthan, on charges of espionage for Pakistan. According to officials, Prasad allegedly passed on sensitive information about Indian Army personnel and DRDO scientists to Pakistani handlers. The arrest followed an intelligence operation during which several of his calls and communications were traced to Pakistan. Investigators believe he may have leaked details pertaining to strategic military activities and testing operations in the high-security Pokhran range. The incident raises serious concerns about internal security lapses within sensitive defence zones. A thorough probe is now underway to uncover the extent of the data compromise and whether more individuals are involved in this spy network. Authorities have also seized digital devices and documents for forensic analysis.
