In view of prevailing inclement weather conditions, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu has ordered the closure of all government and private schools falling under Zone Chowki Choura and Zone Khour on 31st July 2025. The decision has been made as a safety precaution, following alerts of heavy rain, flash floods, and the risk of landslides in the area. Parents and guardians are advised to keep children indoors and monitor local weather updates. Education authorities will continue to assess the situation and provide further updates if needed.
